Project: Indexical’s Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Program for Santa Cruz County Musicians

This Santa Cruz experimental venue will provide four residencies for local, emerging artists including an artist stipend, dedicated workspace, access to production, and marketing. The goal is to give resident musicians the space, tools, and a platform to create and exchange ideas.

Indexical is dedicated to experimentation in music. The Santa Cruz venue engages the public in radical and unfamiliar work through performance, publication, documentation, educational initiatives, and discussion. They work with historically, culturally, and institutionally underrepresented artists and build community through long-term collaborative projects.
