Owned and operated by musician John Jay Myers, the venue features two distinct stages that host live music 7 nights a week year-round. Known for its world-class gumbo and its house band, The Free Loaders, The Free Man provides a home for jazz, soul, R&B, and brass band music. It is a musician-first venue, dedicated to fair pay and the preservation of authentic live performances.
