Drytown Social Club

Drytown Social Club
Drytown, CA

Venue Bio

Drytown was founded in 1848 during California’s gold rush. It was the largest mining settlement in Amador County and was home to 26 saloons. It is now home to 200 people. Drytown Social Club is an intimate and welcoming space full of music where people gather, build community and are nurtured artistically. The venue has been successful in fostering belonging and creating a unique inclusive space in rural California. The grounds of the property are almost an acre with a porch, patios, decks and gardens surrounding it. This provides multiple areas for patrons and musicians to gather and connect, and their monthly open mic provides opportunities for local emerging musicians.
