Solar Myth opened in October 2022, and after 22 years of Ars Nova functioning as a nomadic music presenter, has a home of its own. Since 2000, they have presented shows at venues as diverse as museums, parks, art centers, historic churches, and bars and clubs. Just as the world was coming out of the pandemic shutdowns, Solar Myth became a joint venture between a for-profit bar and a nonprofit music presenter, and Ars Nova has been offering regular programming there ever since, now able to offer excellent sound in an intimate room with appreciative listeners, benefitting both artists and audiences.
