Project: Muse In Community Storytelling (MICS)

The Muse in Community Storytelling is a monthly series in which performing artists will work with the local community to bring to the stage their lived experiences and cultural contributions. The program aims to foster the strong oral traditions of the community that surrounds the venue, expressed through storytelling, music, spoken word and incantations, songs, and visual art. By focusing these events on unique community issues, The Muse aims to welcome audiences who have not previously engaged with the venue, to positively contribute to cultural connection and social change in the Lafayette area.
