Project: The Unheard

The Unheard is an emerging musician showcase program in partnership with the Columbus Music Commision. Harnessing CMC’s connection to the young artist community in Columbus, Big Room Bar will provide the stage for these musicians to perform and foster their talent. The showcases are free and open to all ages, inviting participation from young people who are often excluded from the live music scene due to age or inexperience. Additionally, Big Room bar will capture each of these events, enabling them to provide the artists with digital assets.

For more than 30 years, the WWCD radio brand has captivated the Columbus community through a unique blend of listener and community engagement. Since the beginning, the station has attracted and retained loyal listeners by developing intelligent programming designed to be “theater for the mind.” With Big Room Bar, the station supports local artists and hosts low-cost concerts so that everyone can experience live music.
